Astropad Studio Launches for PC

Here’s What’s New in Studio 5.0

It’s been a long time coming, and today we’re excited to announce that Astropad Studio for Windows has finally arrived! 🥳🚀

First, we want to thank all of our Project Blue (Studio beta) participants for their feedback and support over the last year. It’s incredible how far we’ve come in such a short period and we couldn’t be more thrilled to share Astropad Studio for PC with you.

Here’s what’s in this article:

  • What’s New
  • Upgrading to Astropad Studio for PC from Project Blue
  • What’s Happening to Project Blue?
  • What’s the difference between Astropad Studio and Luna Display?
  • How does the launch discount work?

Now, let’s dive into what’s new Astropad Studio.

What’s New

  • Windows support – All Astropad Studio subscribers can now use, and switch between, Mac and Windows machines as needed using the same iOS app.
  • New underlying app architecture that supports both Mac and PC (things went well if Mac users don’t notice that anything changed)
  • Many performance improvements and bug fixes, primarily for PC users.

What’s the difference between Astropad Studio and Luna Display?

There’s sometimes confusion about the difference between Luna Display and Astropad Studio. Let’s try to clear that up now.

Luna Display: Hardware for Productivity

  • Hardware product & app
  • Extends your desktop screen onto your iPad as well as between other devices (Mac to Mac, PC to Mac, etc.).
  • Great for increasing your productivity or… perhaps watching Youtube videos while “working” on your other screen.

Astropad Studio: Software for Creatives

  • Software-only app that mirrors any desktop application onto your iPad
  • Seamlessly works with the Apple Pencil 1st & 2nd Generations
  • Customizable magic gestures for things like undo, redo, and erase
  • Create your own shortcuts
  • Adjustable pressure curves
  • Great for leveling up the creative work you do on your desktop.
  • The ultimate replacement for any desktop drawing tablet.

The discount will start from your first billing cycle after your 14-day trial and will work with either an annual subscription or a monthly subscription for 12 months.
