A Message from Astropad’s Founders

Both of the Astropad founders

Dear Astropad Community,

You may have heard the news; we did too. Apple has decided to dabble in the connected workspace domain that we know super well. Youā€™ve also likely seen the headlines about Appleā€™s power over small developers and sherlocking top-grossing apps. Weā€™re disappointed, but let it be known:

Weā€™re not going anywhere.

Weā€™ve spent the last five years building innovative products like Astropad and Luna Display that cater to true creative professionals. Our team has always doubled-down on delivering rich features, deep customization, and low-latency input. Why? Because thatā€™s user-driven and thatā€™s what we do.

So while Appleā€™s Sidecar merely scratches the surface of a Mac-iPad workspace, we went all in on the bells and whistles. What does this mean for you? If you have basic needs, Appleā€™s Sidecar may do the trick. But if youā€™re a pro, weā€™ve built Astropad to cater to your creative workflow.

Oh, and about Windows ā€”

Weā€™ve heard you loud and clear. We see a bright future in that exciting new space and we hope youā€™ll join us along for the ride. šŸ˜‰ So while we may be the underdogs, weā€™re ready to charge head-on because weā€™re just as committed to creative pros as weā€™ve always been ā€” whether thatā€™s via Mac, PC, or beyond.

We want to hear from you!

Have questions or want to drop us a line? Being customer-focused means listening and having an open dialogue. We’re all ears at astropad@astropad.com and on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.

Sincerely,

Matt Ronge, CEO & Co-founder
