Astropad Studio 2.0: Second Display Support with Luna Compatibility

Release Notes: Astropad Studio 2.0

We’re excited to announce this BIG update for Astropad Studio!

Studio now features support for our new hardware companion, Luna Display. While Astropad Studio by itself mirrors your main display, Luna extends your Mac display. When you use Astropad and Luna together, they turn your iPad into a second display that also works as a graphics tablet.

Pre-order Luna Display

How to Use Astropad and Luna Together

Getting started is easy — all you need is the Luna Display device and the Astropad apps:

  1. Make sure that your Mac and iPad are using the same WiFi network or connected via USB.
  2. Launch the Astropad Mac and iPad apps.
  3. Plug in the Luna Display device. Astropad will automatically recognize your iPad as a second display.

How to Update

This release requires you update both your Mac and iPad. Visit the iOS App Store to update your iPad app. If you aren’t automatically prompted to update the Mac app, you can download the latest version here: astropad.com/downloads
