Release Notes: Astropad Standard 2.6.1 & Astropad Studio 2.2.1
Last week Apple announced the biggest iPad redesign ever, featuring an all-screen design and LIQUID Retina Display. We’re thrilled to add support for the new iPad Pro model to the latest version of Astropad! Digital artists can look forward to more screen real estate and an extra crisp and powerful drawing display.
Apple Pencil Gen 2
Apple also released a second-generation Apple Pencil, which magnetically attaches to the iPad Pro for pairing and wireless charging. The new Pencil features a double-tap gesture for shortcuts. We’re currently exploring applications for this new gesture in Astropad — stay tuned for future updates!
