Our small team is stacked with talent. As a remote-first team, we’re spread across many timezones and regions. Curious about who works behind the scenes at Astropad? Here’s a glimpse at what we are all about, one staff interview at a time.

Tell us a bit about your role.
I engage with our users daily with questions and feedback, and help with procedures and adding to our knowledge base. Since we’re a small team, we all also get to help with brainstorming and product testing.
Where do you mostly work from?
Mostly home, but occasionally try out co-working spaces or coffee shops with friends.
What’s your workspace like?
I try to take advantage of the flexibility that remote life provides by keeping my workspace pretty mobile. I want to be able to switch rooms in my apartment or work out of a new place entirely very easily, so I just have a small desk set up in my room.
What’s your favorite thing about the work you do?
Support warrants exhibiting empathy. I hope to avoid falling victim to the knowledge curse, where I forget what it felt like to not know what I know now, and I love that my role puts me in a position to push against that daily.
Do you have a technology or productivity hack you rely on? If so, what is it?
One of my favorite quotes is “How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.” I try to combine the sentiment behind that quote with the tip “If you can do it in one minute or less, do it now.” If a task is daunting, but I know I can complete parts of it in small increments, I just decide to do it!
Tell us about your pet!
My dog’s name is Stella (follow her on Instagram: @stellamaudedog) and she’s a German Shepherd mix. I adopted her from the Humane Society when she was about 7 months old and she’s the best.
