A cartoon dog and cat walk across the surface of the moon

We love catering to the creative workflow — so this update doubles down on smoothing out the parts of Luna that our users care the most about. We reengineered our data flow to drastically reduce pixelation, and totally refreshed Luna’s interface to deliver a more streamlined experience.

Luna Display 3.2: Release Notes

Massively Reduced Pixelation

We know that crisp image quality is critical to any professional workflow — that’s why we’re always looking for ways to minimize pixelation in Luna Display. In this update, we reengineered the data flow from your Mac to iPad in order to push data more efficiently between devices.

Now, pixelation is significantly reduced when you’re connected over strong WiFi networks or USB cable. You’ll notice that your iPad stays crystal-clear while you’re scrolling through text documents and web pages.

Polished User Interface

We cleaned up Luna’s sidebar to give it a fresh feel that’s more uniform with the native iOS interface. Swipe from the edge of your iPad screen to access your shortcuts — like rearranging your displays, adjusting screen brightness, and checking your connection quality.

How to Update

Visit the iOS App Store to update your iPad app. If you aren’t automatically prompted to update the Mac app, you can download the latest versions at lunadisplay.com/hello
